My name is Jamison Hicks, one of the current Campus Ministers of the Greater Philadelphia Church of Christ and the Family & Youth Director of Operations at One Day At A Time (ODAAT). I had the privilege of attending George Mason University where I received an undergraduate degree in Government & International Politics and a double Master’s degree in Political Science and Public Policy. I was graciously baptized and made Jesus Lord of my life on October 31st, 2012, which stood to be the Halloween of my freshman year of university. September 14th, 2019 I had the honor of marrying both my ‘ride or die’ and best friend, Laura Hicks. The quote that I personally stand on is as follows: “Service is not a one-day contract, it’s a lifestyle.”
My name is Laura Hicks and I’m a grateful vessel for God, serving along side my awesome husband Jamison in Gods Kingdom! I was converted in 2014 at George Mason University in my junior year! I received my Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Communication. I have dreams of creating leadership schools in Liberia where my family is from, but until then, I’m investing my heart in connecting youth in Philadelphia to resources and mentors, while also pouring into the campus ministry and Hope for Kids! I love watching documentaries, appreciating all forms of art and roaming TJ Maxx and Target when I need a moment. I prayed to one day do amazing things for God’s Kingdom with my best friend and I’m living that answered prayer each day.
