On Saturday, November 23rd we are going to Amplify GRATITUDE! The New York City Church of Christ's Worship Ministry invites you to an unforgettable night of Praise & Worship as we sing to God with gratitude in our hearts (Colossians 3:16). Please join us on this special night as we plan to debut some original worship music alongside some popular contemporary Christian songs.
Our vision is to worship God while making an impact and supporting a great cause. For this Worship Night, we are supporting a great charity called "I Was Hungry" (washungry.com). I Was Hungry was founded in 2014 to address the issue of hunger among brothers and sisters in our family of churches in Central & South America where the average church member makes less than $13 a day and where some children were going to sleep without eating all day.
I Was Hungry has fed over 500 disciples throughout Central America, Mexico and Venezuela with a total of nine churches where members are being supported. The net proceeds from the event (tickets, donations, and t-shirt sales) will be donated to I Was Hungry to help put food on the tables of our Brothers & Sisters homes in Central America as we enter the Thanksgiving Season.
Please consider making a donation in addition to purchasing a ticket for the event. While you do need a ticket to attend the event in person, you can make a donation without purchasing a ticket.
